About The Practitioner
Chantelle Punch is a Reiki master who works as a voluntary Shiatsu practitioner at the City and Hackney Carers Centre in East London.
She also gives Reiki and Japanese massage treatments from home in North London.
Reiki
Chantelle mainly practises Original Usui Reiki which is a simple intuitive original form of Reiki. She also practises Five Element Healing and offers a free distant healing service through her Meditation website.
Japanese Massage
Chantelle has worked with receivers who experience insomnia, anger management issues, stress or depression. She has also worked with people who have arthritis, diabetes and chronic back pain.
Some people receive massage purely as an aid to relaxation but find it helpful in other areas.
Chantelle sometimes uses Reiki or energy healing during her massage treatments and finds the combination of therapies very effective.
Background
Chantelle was trained by Tina Shaw from Absolute Reiki to Reiki Practitioner level and Taggart King of Reiki Evolution to Master Level. She has been trained to practice Reiki as it is traditionally taught in the West as well as Reiki as it was originally developed and taught in Japan. Her initial professional experience is fairly removed from complementary therapies. But having worked as an administrator in deadline driven environments in corporate, public sector organisations and educational establishments, she can readily empathise with clients who work in pressurised and stressful environments.
However Chantelle has always been interested in holistic health and the relationship between the mind and the body.
Chantelle has found that receiving holistic treatments have helped to maintain her overall health. They have also contributed to her personal and spiritual development.
She has recently completed a foundation course in Kinesiology.
